In March 2005, ProCon.org obtained — through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed Feb. 9, 2004 of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) — a report that indicates that marijuana, in frozen storage, can retain its potency for at least 60 months (five years).
