Pro to the question "Should Marijuana Be a Medical Option?"
"Since the inception of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act in 1998, the program has shown continued growth, from just over 500 cardholders in April of 2000, to over 12,000 in April of 2006. The program actively pursues administrative streamlining processes in an effort to better serve our patients while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Multiple states have requested information on Oregon’s program to use as a model for their own medical marijuana initiatives and registration systems."
